John has been fortunate during his lifetime to have been exposed to many facets of the industry and has been lucky to currently sit on a number of Government, commercial and not for profit Boards. The building industry is a "brutal" industry and most of his work involves trying to make the industry a little bit fairer and a little bit safer and a little bit more humane. The Boards he sits on and his colleagues who sit with him are genuinely committed to this common goal. The building industry is a great industry.
