About this course
This WorkSafe approved HSR Refresher course is an opportunity to revisit aspects of the HSR Initial WHS Training Course and refresh their knowledge of the identification and assessment of common workplace hazards. The course will also provide HSRs with any important updates to the WHS Act.
The refresher course is structured to provide important information about changes to the WHS Act. The course will provide WHS Reps with essential tools and resources to help with the identification and assessment of common workplace hazards.
Participants will receive a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Health and Safety Representative Training Course refresher certificate. This certificate is issued by Electrogroup Training Qld RTO # 30185 as a Queensland Government approved training provider.
Prerequisites
To have been elected by members of their Work Group and have completed the WorkSafe approved
Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide 100 points of ID
- Must Attend full 1 day
- Must be HSRs or deputy HSRs elected under the WHS Act.
Please refer to Section 72 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Commonwealth) for PCBU’s obligations to train HSRs. Electrogroup Training Queensland is a QLD Government approved training provider.
